1) Check into classes that are related in the field that
you are in or considering getting into. If you can
increase your skills, your chances of employment are higher.
2) Sign up with a Temp Service. It would give you the
opportunity to have income coming in until you get something
permanent, and it may give you the opportunity to learn
new skills to add to your resume. Also, many times,
the temp jobs turn into a permanent job.
3) Volunteer! Get yourself out in the community
so people can get to know you and your skills. Not
only do you experience the good feeling of helping others,
but you come in contact with people in your community
that may know of openings.
